KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is a synthetic tripeptide derived from the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Despite consisting of just three amino acids, KPV has become a prominent subject in inflammation and immunology research.
